Tahoe's 2023 Tattoo Show was a success! We had a great time and made a ton of new friends. We set the booth's mood by spinning classic vinyl, stringing up some party lights, and added a houseplant to our space right off the bat. We couldn't help but make new homies within' the first few hours. Everyone in our row, neighbors across the way, and beside us all became fast friends! We really had a great time. 

Although this was only our second show reppin' Maverick, we're no strangers to working tattoo conventions. Maverick's set up was pretty well polished if ya ask me. I was super happy with the space and how we were able to display new and older products. We dropped 2 new shirts along with being able to introduce people to our new liquid solidifier FREEZO! It killed it. Everyone loved our drug inspired packaging on our samples along with the retro beer can packaging on the product itself! It ruled, great feedback for sure.

We had Van Nava in our booth tattooing all weekend. He ruled. His lady Tashy, also a super talented tattooer, came and hung out with us and kept us company. Van worked on the same client all day friday and saturday (so tough) pulling off an amazing flowy floral and bird piece that was outstanding. Fellow Maverick family artists; Earl Funk, Steve Roberts, and Justin Shimrock were all attending the show too so we all got a chance to hang a little. It was awesome. 

We made new besties- Zach Donn, Trevor Burtz , Chad Meado, Tyler Grant, Kenny B., and all the super talented guys from Definitive tattoo (Orville, Ryan, Ash, Mikey, Nathan). We were lucky enough to be able to have so many new friends show up to our impromptu after show PARTY on Sunday night. Got to have some cocktails, food and hang with a handful of our new and old buddies. 

Overall we had a great time meeting new friends, touching base with old friends and really enjoyed all of the artists coming over to say hi for the first time! So much talent, so many great people, and Tahoe itself is AMAZING. If you haven't been, I'd definitely recommend stopping by the show next year! We're down to go back withoutta doubt. See ya next year!
